Private Chocolate Classes
For 1 to 8 People
These classes will be customized to your interests to the extent possible and scheduled at a mutually convenient time. Options to choose from for these 2-3 hour classes include:• A guided tasting of chocolates made with cacao beans grown in different parts of the world
• Learning how (and why) to temper chocolate for making chocolate confections at home
• Making chocolates, such as: bark, bars, truffles, mendiants, molded bonbons
Pricing: 1-2 people: $400; 3-4 people: $500; 5-6 people $600; 7-8 people $800
Classes will be held at Beth’s Chocolate, 27 Waldorf Road, Newton Highlands. It’s accessible by T (Eliot stop on the D train) and free parking is available on the street. Contact Beth to arrange a date, time, and payment.
Refund Policy: Full refunds are provided only for cancellations made more than 7 days in advance of the class. Classes can be rescheduled with 3 days notice. ALLERGY ALERT: All chocolates have sunflower lecithin and are made in a kitchen that has peanuts, tree nuts, and other allergens. Milk chocolate has milk. There is a cat in the house.

Halloween Chocolate Class

Spend a fun afternoon making some dark or milk chocolate jack-o-lantern lollipops as well as two chocolate Halloween bars topped with your favorite candy treats. No special skills required…just a love of good chocolate. We’ll also taste some delicious craft chocolates that will be soooo much better than anything your neighbors hand out for trick-or-treat.Come on your own, with a friend or partner, or bring the family (children ages 10+ accompanied by an adult are welcome to participate).
Location: Beth’s Chocolate, 27 Waldorf Road, Newton Highlands. Parking is available on the street.
