Description
The NY Times recently highlighted the many flavors of Japan making their way into restaurant and home kitchens. Many of these flavors taste especially delicious in chocolate. The Flavors of Japan collection features ceremonial grade matcha tea straight from the fields and factory near Nagoya. The crispy, naturally-colored arare sprinkled on the milk and dark chocolates treats were recently brought back from Kyoto by my neighbor. She also guided me on the best Japanese organic hojicha powder for the bonbons and chocolate bar.
I’ve included a sample of hojicha tea, so you can see for yourself how the taste of tea you drink is transformed into a different experience when paired with chocolate. The collection includes:
- 6-piece box of Matcha, Yuzu Sidecar, and Hojicha Latte bonbons
- Dark chocolate Hojicha Bar
- Box of 10 milk and dark Japan-Inspired Treats
- Sampler bag of hojicha tea (4 servings)
(Let me know in the ORDER NOTES if you want to omit any flavors in the 6-box and/or if you prefer all milk or all dark Japan-Inspired Treats.) This will be available beginning October 1st.
