December is the one time each year that I make the largest variety of flavors, so each box will feature a beautiful array of handcrafted chocolates. Available flavors will vary throughout the month as I work on making everything (and some flavors will be posted on my website while they are in stock).
Although I can’t create custom boxes, if you prefer all dark, all milk, or flavors without alcohol or nuts, let me know in the ORDER NOTES section of your order. Also let me know if you need to pick up/ship your chocolates by a specific date.
NOTE: I’ll do everything I can to fulfill holiday orders promptly, but unfortunately I can’t promise that they’ll arrive on time, given potential shipping delays. The sooner you place orders for shipping, the more likely they will arrive before Christmas.

Almonds and chocolate are a classic combination, especially when enhanced with a dash of salt. This salt came all the way from the Wieliczka Salt Mine in Poland. This UNESCO World Heritage Site, dating from the Middle Ages, has 2,000 underground chambers surrounded by walls of rock salt. So of course when I visited the mine I had to bring home a jar of their coarsely-ground salt.

The Mayans and Aztecs were among the first to discover the pleasure of chocolate. They crushed cacao beans to create a drink often mixed with chile peppers and other spices. These milk chocolate bonbons, infused with an organic Spiced Mexican Rooibos tea, celebrate that early history. The tea itself is flavored with Mexican pasilla and ancho chiles, cocoa beans, cinnamon, and saffron, creating a softly spiced, deliciously creamy chocolate.
The Aztecs believed that cacao was a gift from Quetzalcoatl, the god of wisdom. They considered it an aphrodisiac and mood enhancer with mystical powers. Who am I to disagree?

Bergamot, a fragrant citrus fruit mostly grown in Italy, is considered to be a hybrid of lemon and sour orange. The oil from the rind (and sometimes the peel) is used to flavor Earl Grey and Lady Grey teas. These bonbons are made with an infusion of herbal, caffeine-free Rooibos Bergamot tea from South Africa, resulting in an elegant, well-rounded, and flavorful milk chocolate.
The tea is imported by MEM TEA, a local company known for the high quality and variety of its teas. Rooibos (pronounced ROY-boss), also called redbush or red tea, is packed with antioxidants and has been shown to have numerous health benefits. Tasting notes for this tea include vanilla, candied lemon, and orange peel.
