Toppings: may include assorted dried fruits, crystalized ginger, nuts (cashews, pistachios, almonds), cacao nibs, dried rose petals, salt, Japanese arare (rice with natural food coloring).
Allergy Alert: Contains tree nuts and other nuts; may contain traces of soy, egg, milk, wheat, gluten.

You’ll find mendiants in chocolate shops all over Paris. Originally, the dried fruits and nuts symbolized the colors of the robes of four Roman Catholic monastic orders. These French Mendiants are sprinkled with dried fruits, crystalized ginger, nuts, cacao nibs, and a variety of other toppings. If you don’t want your box to include any mendiants with nuts, let me know in the ORDER NOTES.
