Each bonbon is hand-dipped then sprinkled with cacao powder.

My journalism skills came in handy for tracking down authentic chimayo pepper—a (disconnected) phone number someone had written on a scrap of paper ultimately led me to a small family farm that grows this prized New Mexican pepper.
